Scott Allison
President / Owner / Funeral Director/Embalmer
Scott grew up in Ada, Ohio across the street from Hanson-Neely Funeral Home. He graduated from Ada High School in 1993 before attending The Ohio State University. After graduating from OSU with a B.S. in Management and Human Resources in 1998, he worked in the Ohio Northern University Admissions Office as an Assistant Director of Admissions in Ada. Scott joined Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in June of 2004 and became President and Owner in December 2019. He attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science graduating in September of 2005. He has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2006. Scott and his wife Arlene reside in Ada with their three children.

Christie Stephens
Funeral Director/Embalmer
Christie grew up in Delphos, Ohio, later relocating to Harrod, Ohio where she was a 1999 Allen East High School graduate. She also graduated from Apollo Career Center class of 1999 from the Landscaping program. Christie graduated from Rhodes State College with an Associates of Science in 2013. She then graduated in fall of 2015 from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science with Bachelors in Mortuary Science. She served her apprenticeship at Roberts Funeral Home in Wooster, Ohio. Christie has been with Hanson-Neely Funeral Home since March of 2017. She is a member of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, and the National Funeral Directors Association.
Christie enjoys spending time with her two sons: Bennie and George, her grandson, Benji; and her pups: Midnight, Cosmo, (Sunset rest in peace 2022), where she resides in Lafayette, Ohio.

Linda Staley
Office Manager
Linda grew up in Ada, Ohio graduating from Ada High School in 1986. She came to Hanson-Neely Funeral Home in February of 2002 as the Office Administrative Assistant. Linda and her husband Marc reside in Ada and have two sons and two grandchildren.

Haylie Sumney
Funeral Service Associate
Haylie grew up in Lima, Ohio and attended Shawnee Schools. She graduated from Apollo Career Center, class of 2009, from the Marketing Management Program. Haylie has been cleaning houses since 2011 and she has worked part-time at the Ada First United Methodist Church as a custodian since July 2017. Haylie joined Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services in 2021 as a Funeral Service Associate. Haylie enjoys spending time with her husband, Chaise, their two children and their three fur babies: Buster the dog, Khole the cat and Mack the cat.

Dan graduated from Allen East High School in 1981. He was a licensed funeral director and embalmer at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home from 1984-1996. He retired from Honda after twenty-five years. Dan returned to Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services in a part time role, as a director's assistant. Dan and his wife Sue live outside of Alger and have two children and three grandchildren.
