Vikki Sue Scott, age 61, passed away peacefully the morning of May 21, 2022. She was born to the parents of Velma and Robert Scott in Lima Ohio.  She proudly grew up in Alger, Ohio, where she graduated from Upper Scioto Valley High School.  She then went on to receive her bachelor's degree in political science from Bowling Green State University.  Vikki grew up in the First United Methodist Church, Alger and currently attended the Covenant Church in Bowling Green.

Vikki is survived by her mother, Velma Scott; her daughter, Heather Goodwin; and three grandchildren: Ethan, Nathan, and Danielle Brito.  She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Scott; her two brothers: John and J.B.; and her nephew, Lieutenant Commander Seth A. Stone.

Vikki loved her family with everything she had, she was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for.  She led by example on the importance of a relationship with the lord and making him the center to her daughter's and grandchildren's lives.  Vikki served the Lord faithfully and always pointed her loved one to him.  She was a survivor and NEVER gave up!!  She was a strong woman who was wise, as well as tender and loving.  She could make you laugh easily.  She loved to ride her bike and swim, or do anything outdoors, but most of all BASEBALL.  She will be so deeply missed by so many of her loved ones.

Memorial services will be held at the First United Methodist Church, Alger at 6:00 PM on Saturday, June 4, 2022.  Burial will take place at a later date.
