Thearse M. "Dolly" Lawrence, age 65, died on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 6:30 AM at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.

She was born on August 26, 1954 in Kenton, Ohio to the late DeWayne and Rosie Lucille (Poe) Salsbury.  On June 25, 1977 she married James "Wink" Lawrence and he survives in Alger.

Dolly was a homemaker that enjoyed karaoke night with her husband and friends.  She always looked forward to weekly lunches with her friends, but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is also survived by a son, Haven (Jessica) Lawrence of Alger; three granddaughters: Tayler, Shalyn, and Audrey; two brothers: DeWayne "Tim" (Mary) Salsbury, Jr. of Alger and David Salsbury of Carey; and five sisters: Anna Marie "Sally" Rowe of Alger, Retha "Sis" Shumaker of Arlington, Dorothy  "Jeanie" Dysert of Hiawasee, GA, Rita (Greg) Collins of Arlington, and Angela (Dennis) Hamilton of Findlay.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger with Rev. Gene Salsbury officiating.  Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.

Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger and until the time of service Saturday.
