Susan K. Sturgess-Meyers, age 60, of Ada, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at her home.

She was born on May 9, 1965 in Lima, Ohio to Glenn and Sharon (Wahlie) Deringer.  Her father, Glenn survives in Bluffton and her mother, Sharon preceded her in death.    On March 15, 2006 Susan married Brad Sturgess-Meyers and he survives in Ada.

Also surviving is her son, Josh Sturgess-Meyers of Ada; brother, Robert (Carol) Deringer; and sister, Debbie (Jeff) Johnson.

Susan worked for Whirlpool Corporation, Findlay as a safety coordinator.

It was her wish to be cremated.  A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road, Bluffton, Ohio 45817.  Service will begin at 4:00 PM with Pastor Dick Potter officiating.
