Steven D. Winegardner, age 48, died on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at 4:48 AM at Mercy Health St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

He was born on August 23, 1971 in Lima, Ohio to Russel and Joan (Moore) Winegardner.  His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Bellefontaine.  Also surviving are his two children: Logan Winegardner of Chillicothe and Madison (Rea) Bowersock of Ada; a grandson, Lance; a brother, Jerry Kevin (Missy) Spradlin of Findlay; and a sister, Beth Winegardner of Lima.

Steven worked for Plastipak Packaging in Jackson Center.  He was an avid dart player and enjoyed playing recreational softball.

It was his wish to be cremated.  A celebration of Steven's life will be held at a later date.
