Robert E. "Bob" Fissel, age 82, of Wapakoneta, passed peacefully away on Sunday, June 5, 2022, at 3:48 AM at his home.

He was born on February 27, 1940, in Spencerville, Ohio to the late Howard and Ada (Mitchell) Fissel.  On September 2, 1995, Bob married Carol (Honigford) Fissel and she survives in Wapakoneta.

Also surviving are his three children: Terri (Tom) Marchal of Wapakoneta, Mark Fissel of Lima, and Doug (Deb) Fissel of Powell; two stepdaughters: Birdella Stephens of Elida, and Christie Stephens of LaFayette; a sister, Phyllis Collins of Lima; and nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers: Dick and Billy Fissel; sister, Sandy Gaskill; and stepson, Jay Stephens.

Bob retired from Freuhauf Trailor Corp, where he worked as the Plant Superintendent.  Bob was the vice president of Neuman Industries and part owner and president at Benchmark Precision Fab. He was a member of the Only Believe Ministries, Botkins.  Bob served as a greeter and usher for the church.  Bob was a man of faith and a warrior for God, he impacted many lives with his faith.  Bob received his master's degree in Theology.  He loved golfing and his dogs and enjoyed wintering in Florida.  Bob especially loved his family and will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Only Believe Ministries, 13815 Botkins Road, Botkins, Ohio 45306 with Pastor Peter Doseck officiating.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at the Only Believe Ministries, Botkins.
