Rex Alan Cole, age 68, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Lima Memorial Health System, surrounded by his family.

He was born on August 20, 1953 in Wood County, Ohio to the late Alan E. and Bonnie (Neifer) Cole.  Rex married Sharon Rex and she survives in Harrod.

Also surviving are his children: Ria Cole of Westerville, Nathan (Amy) Cole of Lewisburg and Ashley Cole of Lima; six grandchildren; two brothers: Craig (Toni) Cole of Hubert, NC, and Chris (Rexanne) Cole of Dola; and a sister, Amy (Jeff) Sheldon of Ada.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Cole.

Rex worked as a carpenter for Peterson Construction.  He served in the United State Marine Corps.

It was Rex's wish to be cremated.  A private family service will be held at a later date.
