Phyllis J. Igneczi, age 89, died on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 2:25 AM at Vancrest of Ada.

She was born on September 12, 1929 in Columbus Grove, Ohio to the late Russell S. and Dorothy (Taft) Wood.  On December 28, 1947 Phyllis married Theodore A. Igneczi and he preceded her in death on November 14, 2007.

Phyllis was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church of Ada.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Bill) VanAtta of Ada; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Igneczi of Crockett, CA; five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; and a sister, Carolyn Edmonds of Toledo.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Igneczi; a brother, Donald E. Wood; and two sisters: Audrey Wood and Joyce Ann Wood.

Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Courtnie Morton officiating.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church Ada and/or the Community Health Professionals of Ada – Hospice.
