Paris W. Dye, age 83, of Jenera, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on January 24, 1943 in Staffordsville, Kentucky to John and Rusha (Blevins) Dye.
He married Rosemary Dyer and they were divorced. On March 24, 1979, Paris married Suzanne August and she survives. He leaves behind his children: Ursula (Jason) Minich of Alger, Stephanie Oglesbee of Kenton, Gregory (Mary) Dye of Vienna, Crystal Dye of Ada and Rachel (Rob) Rutherford of Reynoldsburg; and fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Paris is also survived by his sister, Ann (Steve) Zuercher; and sisters-in-law: Ruth Dye Nichols, Sheila Dye and Sonja Dye.
His parents and siblings: James Dye, Elmer Dye, Virgil Dye, Robert Dye and Patricia Holbrook preceded him in death.
Paris retired from Whirlpool Corporation in 1997 after thirty years of service working at both Marion and Findlay Divisions. After retirement he enjoyed farming and spending time with his family.
He served in the US Army as a mechanic from 1961 to 1964 stationed at Butzbach Germany. Paris is a member of the Upper Room Church of God in Findlay.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Rev. Kenneth McBeath officiating. Burial will be in Hasson Cemetery, Jenera with graveside military honors conducted by the U.S. Army Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Tuesday, May 26th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Kidney Foundation and/or Upper Room Church of God, Findlay.
