Kevin A. Rex, age 56, of Ada, passed away Monday, September 7, 2026 at Serenity Spring, Arlington after spending many years at Serenity Living Center, Ottawa.

Kevin was born on March 3, 1970 in Columbus, son of the late Norman J. and Kay A. (Maxson) Rex. He is survived by his three siblings: Sylvia (Ron) Jurcak of Burton, Valerie (Jamie) Hall of Ada and Clinton (Tracy) Rex of Marietta, GA; seven nieces and nephews; and a beloved great niece and great nephew.

Kevin was a lifelong lover of music and theater. He especially enjoyed spending time with family. He was a member of the Ada First United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2026 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Rev. Brandi Rigsby officiating. Burial will be in Auglaize Cemetery, Harrod.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2026 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ada Food Pantry and/or Beatitudes Community Center, Ada.
