Kenneth R. Amburgey, age 77, of Ada, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health System.

He was born on December 14, 1946 to the late Irvin N. and Ethel G. (Sizemore) Amburgey.

Kenneth is survived by his three children: Stephen (Chrisleann) Amburgey of Dallas , TX,  Erin (Paul) Sood of Dallas, TX, and Jennifer (Guy) Oakley of London, England; 2 step-children: Jason (Ursula) Minich and Nathan (Chris) Minich; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; significant other, Wilma Parker; and a brother, John A. (Patricia) Amburgey of Ada.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Sue Amburgey.

Kenneth graduated from Ada High School and Ohio Northern University.  He owned Material Testing, Inc where he did construction material testing.  He also worked general construction building and utility supervision.  Kenneth was an Ohio Registered Professional Engineer.

It was his wish to be cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date.
