Karen A. Epley, age 82, of Ada, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.

She was born on September 23, 1943 in Hardin County, Ohio to the late Carl and Lois Viola (Ellis) Moe.

Karen is survived by her two children: Phil (Deana Downing) Epley of Ada and Abby (Bob) Gould of Lima; three grandchildren: Seth (Jessica) Epley, Jared Parker and Danielle (Braden Schick) Parker; five great grandchildren: Brynlee, Sylvia, Halynn, Harlow and Izzy; and sister, Mary Mathewson of Bluffton.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Judy Rodabaugh; and infant brother, Harry Moe.

Karen retired from Ohio Northern University, Ada where she worked in accounts payable. She also sold Longenberger Baskets.

A private graveside interment of remains will be held in Preston Cemetery, Alger at a later date.
