Jeffrey P. Newland, age 63, died on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 9:30 AM at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima. He was born on November 22, 1951 in Bluffton, Ohio to Torence Robert and Dorothea (Neu) Newland and they preceded him in death. Jeffrey formerly worked at Ohio Northern University in the Janitorial Department. He is survived by two daughters: Amber (Zack Hosler) Wireman of Alger and Tabitha Newland of Lima; four grandchildren; four brothers: Dennis (Kathy) Burris of Ada, Steve (Pat) Burris of Lima, Robert Newland, Jr. of Lakeview and Mike (Sue) Newland of Lima; one sister: Diana (Bill) Hoffer of Ada; a step sister, Carol Fletcher of Ada; step mother, Della Newland of Ada He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Burris. A graveside service will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM at St. Paul Cemetery, Ada with Pastor Thomas Dearth officiating.
