James A. "Jim" Griffith, age 72, passed away at his residence in Lakeview on Friday, December 18, 2020.

He was born on January 30, 1948 in Bluffton, Ohio to the late Robert and Vesta (Miller) Griffith.

James retired from Proctor & Gamble of Lima, where he worked as a product manager.   James was a U. S. Navy Veteran. He served in the Mediterranean as a Crew Chief on the Aircraft Carrier the John F. Kennedy.   He was a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge of Lakeview.

He is survived by his two sisters: Mary Bea Agin of Ada and Bobbie (Lee) Hansel of Livingston, NJ.

It was James' wish to be cremated.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
