Geneva Smith, age 92, died on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:50 AM at Vancrest of Ada.

She was born on September 27, 1926 in Wayland, Kentucky to Dave and Grace (Hicks) Parker who preceded her in death.  On June 5, 1993 Geneva married Donald Eugene "Gene" Smith and he died on April 19, 1999.

Geneva was a homemaker and she previously worked for R. J. Dune Cigar Factory in Lima.  She was a member of the High Street Freewill Baptist Church of Ada and she attended the McGuffey Freewill Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons: Bill (Nancy) Martin of Belle Center and David (Joan) Martin of Harrod; a daughter, Julie (Richard) Arnett of Harrod; fourteen grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren; and a brother, Tom Parker of McGuffey.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Randell Martin and Burchell Martin; and a grandson, Jackie Dean Martin.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada with Pastor Dave Trusty officiating.  Burial will be in Ward Cemetery, Lima.

Friends may call two hours prior to the service on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 PM at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
