Evelyn M. Bailey, age 60, of McGuffey, passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at her residence.

She was born on November 21, 1964 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Gary and Shirley (Marshall) Dunson.  On February 13, 1984 Evelyn married Timothy Bailey, Sr. and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2010.

Evelyn is survived by her two sons: Timothy "T.J." Bailey, Jr. and Kyle Bailey both of McGuffey; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; and brother, John Dunson of Kenton.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Bailey; grandson, Hurley Matthew Lee Bailey; two brothers: Ralph Dunson and Gary Dunson; sister, Zora Bailey; and nephew, Tommy Dunson.

Evelyn worked at Hardin Hills Nursing Home and Kenton Nursing and Rehabilitation as a nurse's aide.  Evelyn never met a stranger.  She loved her family and friends.

It was her wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
