Cathy Ann Hobensack, age 73, of Harrod, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.

She was born on June 21, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late James and Helen (Greiser) Marshall.  On May 21, 1976 Cathy married Anthony "Tony" Hobensack and he survives in Harrod.

Cathy is also survived by her three children: Joe Hobensack of Bluffton, Jeffrey C. (Nikki) Hobensack of Columbus and Lindsey (Mike) Capps of Lima; six grandchildren: Olivia, Avery, Marshall, Wyatt, Jackson and Calvin; a brother, Steve (Jan) Marshall; and sister and best friend, Judy (Kevin) Roberson.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Terri Treen.

Cathy retired from Proctor & Gamble of Lima, where she worked for forty years.  She loved her flowers, garden and sunsets.  She liked hot air balloon rides and riding motorcycles.  Cathy loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Crossroads Church of God, 775 S. Thayer Road, Lima, Ohio 45806.
