Brenda Sue Fox, age 76, of McGuffey, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 28, 1948 in Lackey, Kentucky to the late Earnest and Aline (Click) Rowe.  Brenda married Daniel L. Fox who preceded her in death on October 22, 2009.

Brenda is survived by her three children: Corey Watts, Misty (Gary) Conley and Krystle (Steven) Lackey all of McGuffey; five grandchildren: Lindsay (Douglas) Fisher, Shelby (Timothy) Sherwood, Kolby Conley, Kindsey (Kenny) Brown and Brantley Watts; seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Drucilla Watts of McGuffey.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Steven Lackey and great granddaughter, Wrenley Sherwood.

Brenda was a homemaker, babysitter and a foster parent.  She was a member of the McGuffey Freewill Baptist Church.  Brenda started the McGuffey March Madness and volunteered in the community.

Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the McGuffey Church of Christ, 203 Columbus Street, McGuffey, Ohio 45859 with Pastor Don Webb and David Holbrook officiating.  Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14th at the McGuffey Church of Christ.
