Ann Marie McDowell, age 65, died on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at her residence in McGuffey, Ohio.

She was born on February 21, 1955 in Greenville, South Carolina to Eugene and Evelyn (Ready) Kalutz.  Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Camden, South Carolina.  On July 4, 1973 Ann married Paul McDowell and he survives in McGuffey, Ohio.

Ann was a homemaker.  She was a graduate of Eau Claire High School in Columbia, South Carolina class of 1971.   She received her Associates Degree from Rhodes State in Human Services.  Ann was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Findlay, Ohio.  She loved to cook and travel, especially to the beach.   Ann never met a stranger, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

Also surviving is her daughter, Sandra (Jeremy) Johnston of McGuffey; two grandchildren: Brianna Cotten and Tanner McDowell; and a brother, Dr. Theodore (Karen) Kalutz of Camden, South Carolina.

It was Ann's wish to be cremated.  A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Central Church of Christ, Findlay with Jacob Huber officiating.
